Becoming a Sponsor of the 2012 International Summit of Cooperatives

The International Summit of Cooperatives is the key event of 2012, declared the International Year of Cooperatives by the United Nations (UN).

No fewer than 1,500 officers and delegates from 90 countries are expected to attend the Summit, held at the Quebec City Convention Centre, in Canada, from October 8 to 11, 2012.

Cooperative and mutual enterprise and association CEOs and members of their senior management committees and boards, as well as cooperatives and mutuals from around the world will be in attendance.

Also attending will be representatives from different industries operating within a cooperative and mutualist environment, such as the forest, farming, retail, goods and services, insurance, and finance industries, to name just a few.

The Summit has also invited special guests, including members of governments, representatives from the regulatory authorities and supranational organizations. This will be a unique opportunity to hear over 130 renowned speakers, including Nobel Prize winners, academics and big names from the cooperative world.
