Biography

Liz Bailey serves the National Cooperative Business Association as the interim President and CEO and the Vice President of Public Policy & Domestic Development. She also serves the Cooperative Development Foundation as Executive Director. Ms. Bailey has been a strong advocate for raising awareness of the cooperative business model by engaging in outreach to those in the public policy community who have a shared interest in community and economic development.

Ms. Bailey has a prior public policy career combined with government service, at both the state and federal level, with private sector and non-profit program management experience.

Ms. Bailey received a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MPA from the University of Texas at Austin's Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.
