About Mutuo
Mutuo is the leading UK advocacy organisation for co-operatives and mutuals. It brings together the different wings of the UK mutual sector to promote a better understanding of member owned business and to encourage mutual approaches to business and public policy.
Through Mutuo, consumer co-operatives, building societies, mutual insurers, friendly societies and other mutuals work together to promote their shared interests to the Government, media and other decision makers.
Since 2001, Mutuo has also led the growth of the mutual sector, inspiring the creation of new mutuals across the commercial, community and public sectors, which account for over 2 million new members.
