He also received the Board of Director's Award at the Sirius Awards Gala in 2009.
On top of his current responsibilities as Chairman of the Board and CEO of La Capitale Financial Group, Mr. Rouleau sits on various boards, including Opération Enfant Soleil as Chairman, Promutuel-Vie as Vice-Chairman, SOCODEVI, the Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité, and Société Parc-Auto du Québec.
About La Capitale Financial Group
Founded over 70 years ago to help ensure the financial security of Quebec's public service employees, over the years, La Capitale has evolved into a leading financial group whose mission is to build, protect, and optimize clients' wealth. Well-established across Quebec, and the rest of Canada since 2006, La Capitale has assets of $4.3 billion and over 2,200 employees. It offers insurance products and financial services to the general public as well as to the 600,000 members of Quebec's public and parapublic sectors.
Thanks to the wide range of products available across Canada and its extensive distribution network, La Capitale's market share has been increasing steadily since 2003.
Since rebranding in 2010, La Capitale's business has been driven by its agility, energy, greater accessibility through a wide variety of channels, and customer-oriented service. Profitability through controlled growth is another one of its business objectives, partly motivated by its mutual status. As a mutual company, La Capitale contributes to the well-being and prosperity of the community through the La Capitale Financial Group Foundation, which provides over $1 million in support to approximately 180 organizations every year.
